Mind Medicine Australia

I've been at Mind Medicine Australia (MMA) since October 2021.

I began as the Chapter & Community Manager, and also assisted in developing the learning platform for MMA's leading Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies.

Over my first 12 months with MMA, my role expanded until I was formally promoted to Executive Officer in late 2022, responsible for leading the team in collaboration with MMA's founders Tania de Jong AM and Peter Hunt AM. As part of this I now manage the CPAT program, in collaboration with our Course Directors Dr Gita Vaid & Dr Eli Kotler, and our Director of Education and Research, Prof Kylie O'Brien.

In Feb 2023 we surprised the world when our applications and campaign to make Australia the first country in the world to recognise MDMA and psilocybin as medicines were successful.

Current areas of focus are: continuing to develop our training offerings to support safe and skillful psychedelic practice, supporting the rollout of psilocybin and MDMA-assisted therapies as part of the Australian mental healthcare system including tackling affordability challenges and creating education and community for those undergoing treatment to support positive outcomes.

My work at MMA has deeply influenced my views on what can be achieved when talented teams work together towards clearly defined goals and how to allocate resources in order to achieve those goals.
